Quintanilla Parents,

Below are is the Official Attendance Notice from DISD. The document below has information regarding the Texas Compulsory Attendance Law. 

There's a very strong correlation between good attendance and success in school.  On the other hand, students who regularly miss school are also more likely to struggle in school.

If your student is ill and/or has a valid excuse for the absence, please submit an excuse note here .

***A student who is absent for any reason is encouraged to make up any assignments given by the teacher.  Parents should contact the teachers directly, (emails are on school website and on Parent Portal) to request homework assignments for students.

*** Notes written by parent, can only excuse 3 consecutive days***

A continuación se muestra el Aviso de asistencia oficial del DISD. El documento a continuación tiene información sobre la Ley de Asistencia Obligatoria de Texas.

Existe una correlación muy fuerte entre la buena asistencia y el éxito en la escuela. Por otro lado, los estudiantes que faltan regularmente a la escuela también tienen más probabilidades de tener dificultades en la escuela.

Si su estudiante está enfermo y / o tiene una excusa válida para la ausencia, envíe una nota de excusa aqui .

*** Se anima a un estudiante que está ausente por cualquier motivo a que recupere cualquier tarea asignada por el maestro. Los padres deben comunicarse directamente con los maestros (los correos electrónicos están en el sitio web de la escuela y en el Portal para padres) para solicitar asignaciones de tareas para los estudiantes.
